AI Coloring Studio Privacy Policy

AI Coloring Studio ("we", "our", "us") operates the AI Coloring Studio mobile application and the online studio at app.aicoloring.studio (together, the "Service"). The Service is a creative coloring and printable line-art studio intended for adults. It is not directed to children.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Anonymous Account Identifier

The Service signs each user in anonymously through Firebase Authentication on first launch. This creates a randomly generated user ID ("UID") stored on your device and used to keep your subscription state, credit balance, free generation counters, and deletion requests in sync. The UID is not linked to your name, email address, phone number, or payment card.

1.2 Subscription, Credits, and Purchases

For each anonymous UID we maintain a limited record in Google Cloud Firestore: current plan, billing period, AI credit balance, credit-pack balance, generation counters, refresh timestamps, plan expiry timestamps, and account creation/update timestamps. RevenueCat receives the anonymous UID as the customer identifier and purchase events from Google Play or the App Store so paid access can be restored and synchronized.

1.3 Content Submitted for AI Processing

When you use AI features, we send only the content needed to complete the requested action:

• Voice prompts: your device or browser transcribes speech to text; the text prompt is sent for safety screening and image generation. We do not store raw audio on our servers.
• Built-in suggestions: the selected text suggestion is sent for safety screening and image generation.
• Photos: if you use Photo to Line Art or Smart Colorize, the photo you select is uploaded to the AI provider for that conversion. We do not store the source photo on our servers after the request completes.
• Reports: if you report an AI output, we store the report reason, request metadata, and a small thumbnail so we can review the issue.

AI inputs are screened for sexual, violent, hateful, self-harm, drug, weapon, or otherwise unsafe requests before generation. Requests that fail the safety filter are rejected.

1.4 Drawings, Projects, and Preferences

Drawings, projects, color palettes, and app preferences are stored locally on your device by default. We do not upload your saved artwork to our servers unless you explicitly submit content to an AI feature or report an AI output.

1.5 Device and Technical Information

Standard server logs, such as IP address, request timestamps, and basic device/browser information, are generated by hosting and provider infrastructure for security, reliability, debugging, and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide drawing, template, export, and AI generation features
• Manage subscriptions, credit balances, and purchase restoration
• Screen prompts and investigate reported AI outputs
• Prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and keep the Service reliable
• Respond to support, deletion, refund, and legal requests

We do not sell personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

• Firebase / Google Cloud: authentication, Firestore records, App Hosting, server logs, and server infrastructure.
• RevenueCat: subscription and purchase state synchronization for mobile apps.
• fal.ai: primary AI image generation and image editing provider for prompts and photos you submit.
• Google Vertex AI / Gemini: prompt safety, prompt processing, and fallback image generation where configured.
• Google Play and Apple App Store: payment processing, subscription management, and refund handling.

4. Children and Minors

The Service is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. It is not child-directed, and minors may not access or use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we learn that a person under 18 has used the Service, we will delete the associated account record. The adult app is not marketed or submitted as a Families/child-directed app.

5. International Users and Privacy Rights

If you are located in the EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with privacy rights, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable. Because the account identifier is anonymous, we may need you to contact us from the device where the Service is installed so we can identify the correct record.

6. Data Retention

We keep the anonymous UID and associated subscription/credit record for as long as needed to provide the Service, restore purchases, handle billing disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Local drawings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.

7. Your Choices and Data Deletion

• You can delete local drawings and projects from inside the app.
• You can delete your anonymous account record, AI balance, and server-side app data through the in-app Data & Privacy deletion flow.
• You can cancel subscriptions through Google Play or the App Store; uninstalling the app does not cancel an active subscription.
• You can contact support@aicoloring.studio for privacy or deletion requests.

8. Security

We use provider security features such as encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond quickly to issues.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves, including if providers, AI features, or product packaging change. We will update the effective date when we make changes.
